Crafting a Better Way for Senior Designers to Connect
Over the years, we noticed something about how designers work:
the higher you climb, the more isolated it can feel. You’re juggling stakeholder expectations, tight deadlines, complex team dynamics,
and there’s rarely a safe place to sort through it all. Slack communities are too crowded, conferences can be hit-or-miss, and mentorship programs often don’t match you with people who share your level of experience.
We started Coho to fix that.
Our Purpose
Coho is a private network built for senior designers: staff, principal, managers, directors. Instead of throwing you into another massive
feed, we form small, carefully matched circles of four to six peers who understand your world as deeply as you do. These circles meet regularly in a structured, confidential setting so you can talk about the challenges that actually keep you up at night and get meaningful feedback you can act on.
Whether you’re navigating a tricky reorg, wrestling with business strategy, or just trying to figure out your next step, Coho is a space to say, “Here’s what’s really going on—how did you handle it?”
How It Works
Thoughtful Matching
We use a combination of experience-based insights and AI to handpick your group. There’s no giant waitlist, no random pairing
—it’s all about matching you with peers who share your level and challenges.AI as a ‘Second Brain’
Instead of hiring expensive facilitators, we’ve built an AI-driven system that captures your live conversations and async chats in your private group space. Over time, it learns your context and helps prepare meeting agendas so you never waste time or forget what happened last session. It’s there to support you, not replace the human insights that make Coho special.Regular Sessions
You meet on a consistent schedule. We keep things intimate and focused, so every conversation leads to actionable ideas you can take back to your day-to-day.Confidential Environment
Sensitive topics stay within your small circle. We designed Coho to give you the confidence to talk openly and honestly without fear of oversharing in public spaces.Shared Outcomes
Each session ends with tangible takeaways. You’ll leave knowing what to try next and how to follow through—all with your group’s support.
Why We’re Different
Most “professional networks” emphasise size over substance, or only cater to a narrow slice of people who pay steep membership fees. Coho is different. We aim to bring the right designers together in the simplest, most effective way possible. That’s it. We don’t bury you in feeds, content funnels, or membership tiers. We focus on giving you a reliable circle of peers who get what it’s like to handle big design decisions with big consequences.
Our Story
Coho started when we realised top-level designers—the ones juggling budget decisions, alignment with leadership, and day-to-day team morale—often felt alone. We saw them lurking in massive Slack groups, rarely posting, because their challenges weren’t the kind of thing you toss into a casual chat. There needed to be a trusted, curated alternative where tough conversations could happen without fear of judgment.
So we're building it. Small circles. Honest talks. High-impact results. The name “Coho” represents the idea of coming together with a tight-knit group that swims in the same current, moving forward collectively.
Who We Are
We’re a small team of designers, community builders, and technologists who’ve spent years understanding what was missing. We’ve organised hundreds of mastermind sessions manually, led orgs, and learned first-hand how crucial it is to have people you trust when a problem feels too big to solve alone. That experience fuels every feature we build and every group we form.
Join Us
If you’re tired of feeling like your complex challenges have no place to be discussed, Coho is for you. We won’t promise a magic wand for design problems. We will promise a circle of peers who’ve been there, who’ll hear you out, and who’ll help you turn confusion into clarity.
Curious to learn more? We’re here when you’re ready.
